About the project
Drevenepodlahy.sk is a content catalogue of wood flooring for Slovakia. It compares solid wood floors, classic parquet and engineered boards from eleven manufacturers. The site is not an online shop; prices in euros per m² are updated daily and the purchase is completed directly with the retailer.
Floors are sorted by wood species (oak, beech, ash, walnut, spruce), construction, surface finish, thickness and use. Each floor lists parameters such as thickness, construction type, surface, water resistance and suitability for underfloor heating. There are separate categories for floors for individual rooms, budget floors under 30 €/m² and premium floors over 60 €/m².
For planning, a calculator works out the number of packs and skirting boards from your room dimensions, including a cutting allowance. A five-question quiz recommends floors based on room, wood species, budget, surface and underfloor heating. The advice section explains, for example, the difference between oiled and lacquered surfaces, installation and wood care.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a floor on drevenepodlahy.sk?
The site is not an online shop but a catalogue. The purchase is completed directly with the retailer linked from the product.
Which wood floors are suitable for underfloor heating?
The site has a separate For underfloor heating category with floors that the manufacturer explicitly recommends for hot-water underfloor heating. Most of them are thinner floors with lower thermal resistance.
What is the difference between solid and engineered wood flooring?
An engineered floor has a top layer of fine hardwood on a stable core. The catalogue lets you filter by construction type, so you can compare both options.
How much does a wood floor cost?
Prices in the catalogue are shown in euros per m² and change daily. Budget floors under 30 €/m² and premium floors over 60 €/m² have their own categories.
