About the project
eFaktúry.sk is a website for sole traders and small limited companies (s.r.o.) in Slovakia. It covers invoicing, mandatory electronic invoicing and what to expect when starting a business. Figures from legislation are checked against official sources, and each page shows the date it was verified.
At its core are free tools that work without registration and calculate directly in your browser: a VAT calculator, a PDF invoice generator, a Pay by Square payment QR code generator, a due date and late payment interest calculator, a comparison of flat-rate and actual expenses, an invoice requirements checklist, invoice templates and a tax calendar you can add to your own calendar.
Alongside the tools there are expert articles on invoicing, e-invoicing, taxes and VAT, trade licences, setting up an s.r.o. and travel expenses, a glossary of business terms and a Rates and deadlines page with tables of rates, contributions, thresholds and tax deadlines. Those just starting out can follow the Entrepreneur's Path, a step-by-step plan from idea to a working business.
