About the project
eMaturita.sk is an unofficial information guide to the electronic form of the external part of the Slovak school-leaving exam (maturita), introduced from the 2025/2026 school year. On a single page it sums up what eMaturita is, when it takes place and how it works.
You will find the 2026 exam timeline, from student registration through trial and load testing and the dress rehearsal to the regular, substitute and resit dates. The subject overview shows which subjects are tested electronically and which only on paper, including the time allowed and the number of tasks. A separate section describes the PET electronic testing platform step by step, from login to the preliminary result.
Students will find practical tips, for example on keyboard settings, working with the paper answer sheet or what to do in case of a technical problem. At the end there are links to official sources and practice materials. The site is not run by NIVaM (the national institute responsible for the exam) or by the Ministry of Education.
