About the project
Ľubotice.sk is an independent information portal for the municipality of Ľubotice near Prešov, Slovakia. It is not run by the municipality, so for notices taken from other sources it links to the original. Its principle is to leave a piece of information out rather than guess it.
The portal offers practical information for residents: waste collection dates for each part of the municipality with calendar export, municipal office hours, city bus line 13, school and kindergarten, doctor, post office and pharmacy, cemetery, and outages and faults. The parish section has the schedule of church services, parish notices and information on the sacraments. For the 2026 elections there is a guide on how to vote, candidate lists and the results of the 2022 elections.
Other sections are about the municipality itself: its history since the first written mention, monuments, notable people, symbols, statistics, the Šarišské Lúky district and a list of streets. There is a directory of businesses and services, clubs and sport, an events calendar, free classified ads for residents and articles explaining everyday matters, such as kindergarten enrolment, building permits or reporting a street light fault.
