About the project
ALKOBAZAR.sk is a Slovak classifieds marketplace for alcohol, built for collectors and lovers of good bottles. People list whisky, rum, vodka, wine, sparkling wine as well as older and investment bottles that ordinary shops no longer sell. Posting an ad is free.
The portal only puts sellers and buyers in touch; they arrange the sale, payment and handover between themselves. Ads are sorted into categories and can be searched by name, price and distance from your location. Selling alcohol to anyone under 18 is prohibited.
Besides the ads, the site has a daily updated overview of current discounts in alcohol shops, a blog and AlkoTest, an indicative blood alcohol calculator that estimates your blood alcohol level and when you will be sober again, based on your weight and what you drank.
