About the project
Ázijské potraviny (Asian Groceries) is a Slovak website about Asian cooking. It offers step-by-step recipes from Thai, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian cuisine, adapted to ingredients you can buy in Slovakia. Each recipe lists the Asian ingredients you will need.
The second part of the site is a catalogue of Asian food and equipment: sauces, pastes, spices, noodles, rice and coconut milk, as well as woks, rice cookers, Japanese knives and sushi tools. Categories come with short practical explanations, for example how light and dark soy sauce differ or which wok works on induction. Prices and availability are updated daily, and every product links to a shop that delivers to Slovakia.
If you are unsure about an ingredient or a substitute, you can ask the Cooking Advisor. It answers questions about Asian cooking and recommends recipes and products.
